Shorts Studio is a private, on-device video editor for iPhone and Apple silicon Mac.

Before contacting support

Confirm that the iPhone runs iOS 18 or later.
Keep enough free storage for the source video and rendered output.
For automatic transcription, download a supported on-device speech language in iOS.
Keep Shorts Studio in the foreground during long analysis or export operations.

Mac requirements

Use an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 26 or later and at least 16 GB of unified memory.
Keep at least 24 GB free during first setup so required local AI models can be downloaded and verified.
Keep the Mac connected to power and the internet until first setup is complete. Interrupted downloads resume automatically.
After setup, source media analysis and rendering run locally without an account or cloud-processing service.
